MYLES DEVELOPMENT COMPANY
Seth has been a senior level staff member within the Myles Group of companies since 2008. During his time with the group, he reported directly to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. His primary functions included planning, development, and execution of projects critical to the success of the organization. He has been responsible for the design, bidding, and management of construction for both grant funded and non-grant funded projects for Wellsboro & Corning Railroad Seth was responsible for feasibility analysis, project planning and implementation, and government relations for TransRail NA.
Prior to 2008, Seth worked in the banking industry as a Vice President and Regional Manager of a business development group at Citizens bank. Seth is also a Chester County native and currently lives in Southern Chester County.
Tom founded Myles Land & Improvement Company in 2013 after the purchase of the historic Farmers and Mechanics Trust building in West Chester, PA. Myles Development Company was established to manage the restoration and redevelopment of the building along with a variety of other construction and development projects.
Prior to 2013, Tom was the Chief Financial Officer of Wellsboro & Corning Railroad Co. and TransRail NA. His primary responsibilities included managing the financial risk of the railroad and transloading company, long range economic planning and record keeping, and fiscal reporting to the board. Over the course of five years, operations of the companies were both fiscally and physically transformed to manage the 3900% increase in carload activity. Tom was an integral part of the sale of the rail line and transload company to a publically traded railroad conglomerate in 2012.
Tom is a Chester County native and holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Scranton and a MBA from Pennsylvania State University.
